Some kids going around looking for aliens definitely not as silly as some kids driving excavators and working office jobs.
Point taken
silly-re? you mean sillier right?
what the hell is an earthdannar?dont tell me its that velgerian alien who just came out of the cannister??!
yeah this show is sillier than sevens even.
So far pretty much
remember kids, dont eye beam your washing machine is a very important item of the house
No, let's eye beam ever Rotom Appliance there is and test whether the Ai inside lives or dies.
Lmao Valvelgear comes in clutch hahaha.
Well this is a promising sign. Hopefully our Yu-siblings don't have a long lasting losing streak like Yuga did.
Eyyyy Zwijo shows up! And we still don't know wtf an Earthdamar is. It looks like a spirit in the shape of a Yugioh protagonist. Yuga maybe????
Earthdamar, or shirikodama (or you can call it ASS Dama). Just read about Kappas and you will get the idea. Since, Kappas getting these shirikodama's from peoples asses.
I did some research and... huh...
I uh... guess you learn something new every day...
Yeah remembered that from that Kappa anime and Gegege no Kitarou 2018
I know they are trying to explain mechanics but it almost became like: "you draw a card like this"
use a sleeve my man
thos cards are wet
Lmao, I thought that Earth-dama thing was a card or something like that, but it's something to put into ur body...wtf...?
Just what the hell is Earthdamer...?
Omg they really went fully kappa lore with that character, from making him drink cucumber water to being obsessed with Yuuhi's... well the thing all kappas want to steal from humans XD My best guess is that Earthdamer is basically a part of his soul and now that blondie alien took it, we are back to the classic yugioh soul stealing plot XD Also that black haired girl is very sus, first she works at stationary shop, in the ending she is working at the food stand and now at dry cleaners... looks like this city still hasn't changed child labour laws, even decades later and it must be a very expensive city if she has to work so many jobs... that or the writing staff just didn't feel like making random shopkeepers and put her everywhere cuz she is cute.
Love the comeback of heart of the hearts/friendship moment, Yuuhi believed in the power of 8 million tiny aliens in a spaceship and they helped him out, really wholesome moment. Even after chupacabra kid openly betrayed him, Yuudias still believes he taught him about trap cards, bless his pure innocent heart. Hopefully we learn more about Yuudias' ex... I mean blondie alien the next time. He doesn't look downright evil or seems like he has a sinister plot going, in fact preview showed him being there for Yuudias... so maybe a classic plot of best friends going different paths due to conflicting interests? Welp we will see next time.
Valvelgear already best character they didn't need to add even more reasons to like them this episode.
and later we learn Yuhi used Yuamu's deck before this one
DONT FUCKING STOLEN MY LIVESTREAM BULLSHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
wait he still trust in chupa-taro?
Yuuhi's deck of toys and robots has Yugi Mutuo and Rua/Leo's vibe in it. Well, he's definitely not Yugi's material, so I guess they planned Yuuhi's character to be like Rua/Leo, a comic relief most of the time but stands really proud and cool when it comes to protect his siblings/friends.
Same thought. I really did think that Yuuhi and Yuuamu looks kinda same as Ruka and Rua. Like, both are twins but the younger one is better at dueling and the older one is kinda dumb (lol), etc... But hope they'll develop Yuuhi and Yuamu more :) Cuz I don't want to see them being a supporting characters like Ruka&Rua.
What got me disappointed with Rua/Leo and Ruka/Luna is they're both supporting cast and nothing more. Hopefully their successors will get more plot relevancy.
The twins being mere supports can't be helped since they're children who somehow got shoved into the problems of an already cool team of teens/young adults. In GoRush where children are the stars their characters should certainly performed better.
You're telling me the format with unlimited summons and draw up to 5 is... slower than traditional Summon once per turn draw 1 classic? Weird...
Don't know how this is any different from modern YGO.
In modern YGO, you summon a bunch of monsters, and use them as material for bigger monsters.
The only difference here is that your opponent gets to fight back.
I guess that's a bad thing?
You're right, they're not summoning a few monsters, Tribute them, then attack.
They Summon a million monsters, use them as material for Synchro/Xyz/Link plays then pass and hope they have enough negates to stop their opponent from playing.
Idk about you, but I prefer long back-and-forths over quick, one-sided blowouts largely decided by who goes first.
Now, you can make a point that these early Duels are not very eventful. And I agree. They're pretty boring, all things considered. That's because they're tutorial Duels meant to ease new viewers into the game.
You can make an entire argument about how this seems like a really bad time to do this but that's another discussion entirely.
Point is, I don't agree that Rush Duels are boring, or at the very least think they're not as boring as Master Duels.
When Shaddols came out, I in particular loved the floaty metagame back then. With effects both I and my opponent could always recover and duke it out.
Arc-V's era was kind of where the game peaked. If you hated the new thing and didn't want to touch it, that was valid with new decks still being released that do other stuff and doing well in all the tournaments. There was actually a surprising amount of meta diversity for a while and we had not yet devolved into having half of every meta deck be the same hand traps and staples. It started to go downhill with Ash Blossom's release as that started the trend that has continued to this day with hand traps and negates being important (if you're opponent gets to play anything other than Nibiru, a Kaiju, Sphere Mode or hand traps then you're not playing right because they actually get to play the game now), plus they thoroughly killed Pendulums to appease the very vocal people who couldn't shut up about it being the worst thing ever and responsible for ruining the game. We're now at the point of turns being 5+ minutes of somebody just continuing to extend their combos until they've got a negate and a beater on the field.
We can agree to disagree on this, I suppose.
What I don't get is why you keep watching? All of your comments on this show seem to just talk about how you don't like Rush Duels.
You don't seem to be invested into the story or characters either, seeing how you never mention them.
>Bad shows deserve all the hate they can get
Okay, it's become obvious to me you're just one of those fanboys who thinks Konami betrayed them by abandoning the "old style" of YGO, or some other shit that has no basis in reality.
Either that or you're just a troll.
This conversation is over.
Dude, please.
You talk about SEVENS being a dissapointment despite the fact that Japan loved it. Just cause you and your Gallop-brained friends don't like it doesn't make it a dissapointment.
Konami also doesn't care what you think, anyway.
And once again
>Bad shows deserve all the hate they can get
Asshat logic, right there. If you don't like the show, stop watching. Nobody cares for your opinion if you're just gonna say the same thing everytime.
Just cause a show is "bad", that doesn't mean it needs an idiot in the comments telling everyone it's bad.
Once again.
Nobody cares.
Also
>Do you think people will like bad shows?
Yes?
You've never heard of "so bad it's good"?
That doesn't apply to this show of course, so far it's fine, you just have shit points and criticisms
Well, allow me to criticise your criticism.
Its always the same thing.
Yes, because "Bad show deserve hate" was something so stupid to say, it legit blew my mind.
You cannot expect me to take you seriously after saying that.
He got his whatever stolen again. lol
I thought he used Block Dragon for a sec there. It was almost based.
Ah, so the Glasses lady is actually Princess G ... totally forgot she looked like this in her civillian/undercover mode (when she pretended to be a teacher). Naruhodo.
Can't wait too see what the RUSH version of Synchro is (I hope I'm not the only one seeing the Opening's play on Synchro/Mirage words).
shinkiro =/= shinkuro
